The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course is a two-year diploma program designed to prepare students to work as basic health care providers, especially in rural and underserved areas. It emphasizes maternal and child health and equips students to work at the grassroots level of India’s public health system.
Students receive hands-on training through hospital rotations, community health visits, maternity wards, child care clinics, and immunization campaigns. A 6-month clinical internship is a mandatory part of the curriculum.
